It’s almost like he and his buddy don know nothing about running a business and fostering human relationships. A couple of small time Napoleons with large time capital can make quite a mess if given half a chance. And currently they are being given a whole chance.

So there’s a second person who doesn’t want to attach their name to a machine that generates child porn? Good on the guy who left.

I guarantee you, he only did it because he thought it was a bad business deal.

All of these “people” would literally make machines to rape children if they believed it would make them more money.

We need to stop giving them power.

Musk has a tendency to be all up in in his people’s faces telling them what to do. I wouldn’t be surprised if they all went and formed their own company.

It’s language for people who advertise they know something about “AI,” but couldn’t implement it if their life depended on it.

TBH I’ve never heard that one, but it sounds like they’re trying to use “gradient descent” in a sentence.

It is, gradient descent is what you use to find optimal model parameters.

the algorithm takes a step, computes a gradient (whether any nearby options are better), then moves in that direction to improve the parameters, in a loop.

Most recently, xAI has come under fire after Grok began generating nonconsensual sexual images of real people in response to X user prompts.

That will never happen. For these people “being poor” still means having a shit ton of cash.
All muskyboy’s companies could collapse today and he’d still have millions and millions in a bank somewhere.

The only way this person, and billionaires like him, will feel any consequences is if they are dragged to a fucking guillotine and served justice medieval style.

The answer is when enough people get tired of them hoarding everything…

Gluttony was always greed, and the stories about dragons sleeping on gold were just allegories for people like Elmo.

We need to stop acting like this is a new problem and we don’t know how to fix it.

It’s human variation, some people are wired to do anything for as many resources as possible. Which is fine as long as we get them treatment instead of giving them the keys to the planet.

All we gotta do is stopping letting the wealthy make all the decisions, because they’ll keep deciding that they should have more of the money.

France used to have kings bro…

Kings with so much money they not only funded but sent their own seasoned commanders across an ocean for a revolution against their rival just so they couldn’t have it.

You think a week before the first head came off that the average French citizen believed one day the monarchy would be dissolved?

Like, none of this is new, we just need to look at it on a timescale measured in centuries and not just since we were old enough to remember.

The wealthy don’t have to control the government, and they don’t even have to be wealthy if the rest of us don’t want them to be. That’s how modern wealth works, it’s 1’s and 0’s. If the next US government says “that’s mine or your cut off from US banking”. They’re gonna fucking transfer that money, be ause it’s not even the banks to begin with.

We have an absolute shit ton of options to work with

Sure. I didnt say musk couldn’t be assassinated or otherwise disposed of. Im responding to the commenter that wanted him homeless and poor.

Regardless, things have changed somewhat since the French revolution. A population cant simply rise up and start guillotining billionaires. They can literally just fly away.

Not to mention they effectively control the minds of the population that would take up arms against them.

Like virtually everything else in life, this is not a binary decision…

They can literally just fly away.

They can abandon all their possessions that are stateside and try to flee, and maybe some do. But we’re talking about the type of people medieval dragons were based on, they ain’t running to save themselves over what they’ve hoarded.

Not to mention they effectively control the minds of the population that would take up arms against them.

Loads of shit wrong with that statement, but most obviously that only conservatives have guns.

                Tldr:

You said one thing is possible.

I said not only is that thing possible, but more extreme things are.

Logically I don’t understand how I can help you understand this, and that’s the only way I know to explain things, I’m sorry.

You haven’t really explained how Musk could ever be poor and homeless?

Any billionaire could discard their wealth “state side” or in a bunch of countries and still be obscenely wealthy.

If you could press a button and instantly delete all of his wealth the world over, he could land a well paid board position with any number of large companies who would pay him many millions just because his name would increase share holder sentiment.

He could just call any multimillionaire who has benefited from his association and say “hey I’m destitute, can you give me a place to stay and some pocket money” and they would gladly agree.

Musk will never be poor and homeless.

                  Tldr:

You seem to be arguing against a claim that you imagined I made, and / or seem to exist in an alternate reality with dragons and guillotines.

Logically I don’t understand how I can help you understand this, and that’s the only way I know to explain things, I’m sorry.
