I’m not very familiar with this character, but I’m guessing that Duke Nukem would only go to Epstein Island once.

And the only ones coming back would be him and the victims he rescued.

And after that… “Call me Santa, because I have a list and I’m checking it twice… except no one on here is any bit nice.”

    Declarations. Executive orders. Not bills.

Bills create law. He ain’t doing that. Most of what he does is not legal.

I hate to be the Akshually guy but they’re truly not laws. They’re directives for the federal agencies under the control of the executive branch. They have the " force of law " (assuming they’re aligned with the constitutional authority of the president) but they’re not laws.

They don’t create crimes, do budgets, or override congress.

law is the profession of specifics… it’s not sophistry; it’s technicality

just like trump is not a convicted rapist: he was convicted of sexual assault

the law is not intended to deceive. the words are complex by necessity, but complexity is not sophistry

i think i see the problem. i think you’re an Aussie. in your legal system that might actually be true. i’m in statesia. in a past life i wrote a few entries in the Code of Federal Regulations, if that gives you some guess to the quality of the thinking in there. looking for sense in the government is the quickest path to insanity

I’m not though. They’re truly different things and I promise I’m not arguing in bad faith.

The differences I mentioned are material, especially that an executive order cannot arbitrarily criminalize something.

i think it’s that we’re arguing from different perspectives. for most people, a law is a regulation is a procedure is an executive order. they all carry about the same weight. when you actually deal with legal specifics the differences matter but to most folk they’re cinnamon rolls.

*fun as in lets cut the wire on a bomb and hope we successfully defused it.

What’s this about Trump shitting his pants, by the way? It’s not the first time I’ve heard about it, but when I looked it up I found nothing.

In that press conference you can see woman in green’s face. This screenshot is from right when he shit his pants and the smell reached her nose at the speed of stench. Immediately afterward they kick all the press out.

It looks real to me. The reactions aren’t large, and maybe the shart noise at 0:34 could have been edited in, but… it all fit together with the way Trump and staff suddenly rushed the press out of the room.

AI told me it was actually a chair sliding off screen and said it was visible in other videos but it couldn’t link me to the exact point.

As much as I don’t like Trump either, I continue to doubt this claim without further evidence

              https://youtu.be/u_6kGluvINg

0:35 is the alleged shart. Within seconds he’s trying to wrap it up. At 0:39 he’s suddenly trying to immediately wrap it up. At 0:42 the woman in green arguably reacts. More reactions from the woman in green again at 0:47 and 0:53. At 0:51 he literally gestures the press out of the room without actually moving from his chair.

If this was a grand jury, you’d get an indictment for sure. It could not be a shart, but it looks like a shart, sounds like a shart, and the woman in green smells it like a shart.
