I posted this comment on the same meme in a different comm, but it’s worth saying again:
I’m a big proponent of “showing your weird” – I’ve always liked weird people because they don’t appear to be hiding anything, they just have a genuine quality normal people don’t, whereas people who seem “perfect” or “normal” (whatever that means) are often too good to be true, and are fucked up in a way they have to hide.
I’ve had success showing my weird; it weeds out those who would not want me, and that prevents wasted time and energy on something that’d never work.
All this being said, if I were on a date with a person and they started doing this, well, I’d be extremely interested.
She was probably turned off by the fact that they aren’t maps, but rather nautical charts. :(
Maybe a sea monster ate her ice cream.
Monologues are not allowed to exceed 5 minutes on a date.
I’d date them
Well, yeah, duh. That’s what chronological order is.
I now don’t know whether they are genuinely simping or being witty.
As a cartographer I’d be right there with you talking this out.
Try dating other autists, normies don’t uh, speak your love language.

OP was the sea monster all along.
maybe she has a strong preference for sky monsters!
you gotta explain the sea monsters by hardness on the mohs scale. rookie mistake
Same happend to me :(
Some people who were supposed to report on those areas didn’t, so myths about “there be dragons” spread.
I fit it all in one sentence. What’s so hard?

Id definitely take sea monsters on maps so long as opposed to hearing how much they hate their ex
