When lawyers complain they got a bad rep
But … the whole point is making it bigger!
Candidate for the American Supreme Court.
Actually hilarious
Nah, lawyers care what words mean.
“Fuck that’s so stupid why the hell did I date you. Fuck off trash.”
I didn’t ask to read this post. This post asked to get in from of my eyes. In not saying reading it was right, but don’t try to make this post bigger than it was.
We got a Stavy’s World caller
lol holy
It’s always fun to see people who learned how to debate from posting online bring that energy to real life. Just a fun reminder that sometimes learning something can actually make you more of an idiot.
Sometimes I’m really thankful that my brain was already mostly developed before the Internet became popularized. Lord only knows what my autistic ass would have done with all the terrible information available nowadays.
It’s like they have enough intelligence to retain information, but absolutely no ability to form complex thoughts and do anything with said information.
And yet, I’ve noticed that people who grew up with computers as opposed to computer-free life tend to radiate higher intelligence.
Eh, I think that’s just due to selection bias. We’re at a point where computers are such an integral part of life that the only people who do not know how to operate them are people who chose not to keep up with the times.
I have plenty of older patients who did not grow up with computers, but learned how to operate them later in life because they recognized their importance. They tend to retain much better cognitive function later in life than those who checked out of having new experiences a long time ago.
On the opposite side, I have plenty of younger patients who grew up with computers and are definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed.
I think there is a drastic difference between what computer counted in the 90s-00s vs now. It was not user friendly, everything was advanced, troubleshooting was engineering, etc., you didn’t just push a power button, launch a browser and go to youtube
Eh, it wasn’t that much different than now. Tbh in some ways it was a bit easier, just because there wasn’t as much going on. Really everything windows 95 and after were relatively similar to what most people are using today.
Even before YouTube there were plenty of forums available that would walk you through most any troubleshooting.
Right, but we had forums, we constantly troubleshooted things, we did alot of reading, etc., nowadays average person spends most of that time consuming media, which was borderline a luxury back then.
Just a fun reminder that sometimes learning something can actually make you more of an idiot
I feel like these people are idiots to begin with, and the fact they learned just pointed then into a different flavor of idiocy
Someone trying really hard to ignore the transitive property.
This would be the symmetric property my friend.
Transitive would be: if you’re my girlfriend, and you have a girlfriend, then she is my girlfriend.
My girlfriend?
Our girlfriend.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
smtg?
“something”
All of the red in the world has been sucked up and consumed and placed into this flag.
I often think that there’s no way a man could possibly achieve levels of douchebaggery so high that he sends a message like this unironically. Then I get in my car and see large pickup trucks behaving the way they do.
Gaslighting behaviour: reframing, deflection, minimisation.
They teach that as executive presence in management trainings
Gaslighting isn’t real. You made it up.
The American Psychological Association (APA) Dictionary of Psychology defines gaslight as:
to manipulate another person into doubting their perceptions, experiences, or understanding of events.
i think they want to gaslight you into thinking gaslighting isn’t real!!1!1!
The APA is famous for spreading fake news. Don’t let them fool you, wake up
Aww man…such a good opportunity to use the wrong definition and you squandered it with whoooosh
Whoosh
At this point, ‘gaslighting’ is just a synonym for ‘lying’ (or in this case, ‘making excuses’).
Although their statement was actually an example of gaslighting. The key component is to try to make the person doubt their own memory.
The link says nothing of the sort. You probably misread it, or misunderstood it.
spoiler
It was a joke
And of course the American PYSCHOLOGICAL Associate would say that. It’s how they make money by selling these bogus diagnosis guides to psychologists
Ah, you got me.
Fake News

There is a real question about whether a relationship should continue after a transition, but doing it over texts and in such a debatey way is kinda weird.
Don’t feel bad, I kind of thought that’s where this was going at first too.
I think the implication is that this guy asked a woman to be his girlfriend, then cheated on her. When he was caught, he said that he only asked if He could be her boyfriend, but never claimed that she was his girlfriend, leaving him free to have other relationships. It’s a twisted logic that’s gaslighting the woman…
Yeah, I see that I read it wrong, but Ill leave my message up because it’s funny :P
I’m glad you did. I had a giggle
where did you get transition from😭🙏
Lmao, I might have read it wrong. I read “I never asked for a girlfriend” as “you were a man, now that you’re a woman I can’t be with you anymore.” 🤣
Wdym transition?
I thought they meant transgression but they really did mean transition. Misread it as if the guy had a boyfriend who transitioned, and he didn’t want to have a girlfriend.
