A kernel of truth to this, if you recognize that both Republican and Democrats have wanted the Iranian government overthrown and replaced with American loyalists for nearly fifty years.

The Obama/Biden strategy was to let the State Department polarize the rest of the region against Iran and squeeze them until they capitulated. The Bush/Trump strategy has been to outright assassinate Iranian officials, seize Iranian assets abroad, and plot an invasion of the sovereign territory.

We have a bipartisan consensus on wiping the IRGC and the Muslim-led anti-American government off the map. The question was never of policy, only of strategy.

I’m pretty convinced that there are real people, and there are bots/inciters.

The vast majority of the ones you (and real people magas) hear are bots and inciters.

I wonder what level or percentage of bots and inciters would be needed to destabilize a country’s people, and what level of influence like this would be needed to sustain it. Honestly? Probably not much, the United States is constantly on its own internal cold civil war and has been since the beginning.

Maybe there’s a great intellectual threshold needed to see through the bullshit, and most people are born into systems built to prevent seeing through that threshold by any means necessary.

You think far, far too highly of Americans. By international standards most aren’t even educated and would be considered grade school drop outs. Adding onto that over half the US population has been exposed to unsafe lead levels in their water and environment for their entire lives, including at least half still exposed today.

I work with a bunch of magats and a lot of the customers are magats as well. A customer was talking to me about current events and the magat boss cuts us off and says to the customer, “Careful, hes not like us”. Like, excuse me? the hell did you just say? You’re right, I can think for myself… They complain of echo chambers but create bubbles around them in real life and refuse to even talk to people who aren’t “like them”.

The Iranian regime did kill a lot of protesters although the exact number is hard to verify and it should not be used as justification for war crimes and terrorism from the American Regime against the Iranian people.

The people of Iran are in a lose - lose situation.

Edit: The US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reported over 5,000–7,000 deaths

This is correct. The People of Iran need time to sort through their problems, and freedom from sanctions from the West so they can trade with the rest of the world.

We are both starving the Iranian people and bombing them. All while failing to achieve democracy like we say we want.

I’ve only heard of one such strike. As shitty as that situation is, we should take a lesson from that when we repurpose military complexes. Even if it was by mistake, that would be a huge mistake since it had been repurposed like 15 years ago.

There were actually two strikes on two separate schools that day, one in Minab and one in Lamerd. The one in Minab that killed all the schoolgirls overshadowed the coverage of the other (I’m assuming because of the moral outrage of killing so many schoolgirls). I didn’t actually know about the second until NYT did a report about it much later (linked above).

3k is one of the the lower estimates, there are much higher estimates as well.

However I can assure you that not all protesters or people that had access to the internet killed were CIA/Mossad plants. I saw many videos of unarmed protesters being mowed down and driven over in the streets.

The Iranian people are suffering, and the Iranian regime is terrible, however they will not be liberated by the US or Israel.

The people of Iran have mobilized and bonded over support of their government. Maybe we should stop repeating CIA talking points, since regardless of the numbers, the only people served are the evil USA regime committing genocides globally, either directly or indirectly, vis proxy states or well-paid and well-armed “freedom fighters” such as SDF and Da’esh.

Unfortunately, if they elect a secular government, like their previous president(PM?), Israel will just assissinate them, while the USA will assisinat their religious leader, and then threaten the leader of another religion, the Pope. USA and Israel are terrorist states, and I’m having a hard time figuring out which blind is leading the blind.

                2. That the US or Israel might attack doesn’t make the Iranian government slaughtering their own citizens good or acceptable. The Iranian government slaughtering their own doesn’t justify the US or Israel taking over killing them.

Idk how to make people like this understand that Donny John literally would not piss on you if you were on fire. He’d just call you white trash, then rape your daughter on his way out.

In Vietnam war, US narrative that gave the impression of continuous victory was Vietcong body count ratio of 10:1+ over dead Americans. Very few ordinary Americans received a cheque (income increase) related to Vietcong body count.

In Iran, US spending $40B + expected Israel reinbursement of their $20B, to blow up over 9000 shit, and more than what Iran blew up can only be related to victory, if it was a goal to have a higher video game score measured in TNT damage. If it was a goal to make oil prices yoyo up and down, but mostly up, then victory achieved. The propaganda about US winning in illegal war on Iran simply can’t be measured in metrics unrelated to goals.

I’ve seen no proof that protesters were mass killed and I’ve in fact seen more Iranians claim the internet blackout and mass killings were bullshit. I’m tired of seeing that this is Iran’s or Trumps fault or that it’s to “distract from the Epstein files” which is the dumbest bullshit you could think of… cmon yall the “progressive” governor of my state literally said they would preemptively strike Iran in a debate before Trump was even president again.

I’m glad I asked. I agree, that comment is bullshit. The way you responded, it wasn’t clear what you meant, to be honest. It reads a bit like you’re defending the MAGA justification for going to war.

“They killed 20k protestors” is ambiguous in its meaning. Are they saying that’s a lie, and MAGA is stupid for not seeing that it’s a psyop? Or are they saying MAGA is stupid for thinking that’s really why we’re going to Iran, to rescue the civilians, and save them from this evil regime?

You seem to have taken the first interpretation. I think a lot of other people here assumed the second. Also, I don’t even see that comment, so it’s even more confusing what you meant.

You called this “whitewashing”, which it isn’t, because even though the killings did occur, they do not constitute a valid justification as the MAGAts claim… This was RickyRigatoni’s point. Goddamn it, we fucking know.

If Trump was trying to rescue them from the Iranian regime, he sure has a weird way of going about it, yeah? The only thing he’s been bitching about is opening the strait. He’s even threatened to bomb Iran “back to the stone age where they belong” his words, if they don’t comply. And “kill an entire civilization”, doesn’t really sound like a good way to stop the murder of civilians.

Iran committing violence against their citizens is reprehensible and should be condemned. Obviously. But if you really believe that’s why Trump is waging this war, you should consider the overwhelming evidence that he’s been played by the Israelis and his sycophant cabinet is too scared to tell him it’s a fucking horrible, stupid idea, that will only serve to harm US interests in the region. If the Iranians benefit in any way from this war, it’s an unintended consequence. He’s a moron with a god complex. He has ZERO care for the Iranian people, because he only cares about himself. That’s all he’s ever cared about.

If Iran killed 400 trillion protestors, bombing them still doesn’t appear to even follow the beginnings of a plan to help rescue that country from an oppressive regime. You’d want international relations and spycraft that develop confident dissent in their government, and show them a better way of life.

The american regime is a rogue theocracy that has convicted pedophiles in government, kills protesters, protects pedophiles, and puts children in concentration camps; lets missile strike their cities!

Honestly, what makes us the world police? I don’t want protestors killed, but dropping bombs on schools is not the help they need.

Jesus you people are really just living in your own heads huh? What are you even replying to? I pointed out that one of those facts is wrong, that’s it. Go complain to someone else who actually said something on the topic.

I mean, sorry if I misread your intentions, but your phrasing in such a thread in response to the OP appears to make a statement. You are also aware that the people cheerleading this war are echoing exactly what you said, in essentially the exact same words.

No need to be a dick.
