Every time I see this I am reminded by how tiny and thereby underwhelming it looks in real life. The original was more majestic.
I’m reminded if bungee jumping.

curious, where is this from?

Civ… 4?
A sacred mountain range taken from the Lakota Sioux by gunpoint in the Great Sioux War of 1876.
And the Lakota Sioux took it from the Cheyenne tribe by arrow point only 100 years prior to that. So yea, the Sioux had the land stolen from them by force, but they stole it by force themselves before that. And by this point, the US has controlled the land longer than the Sioux ever did.
On the other hand, the US did have a formal treaty with the Sioux that granted them the land which the US willfully broke when gold was discovered.
Better call in Frieren to finish him off.
Rushmore? No thanks I’ll make more mistakes if I do.
just wait till he grows the trump head
If anyone put the idea in his head, there is no doubt in my mind he’d try to have himself carved into it. I firmly believe the only reason he hasn’t is because he hasn’t remembered it exists.
No no. He has on multiple times confirmed he’s going to do that.
In response, most experts agree that if they even attempt it, the mountain isn’t strong enough to support any more deep rock drilling. If they try, the likelyhood is, the entire mountain and all 4 heads collapse and crumble into itself.
the collapse would be a great representstion of the state of USA
could be for the best
Considering the US violated treaties to destroy land with significant spiritual significance just to capture the Six Grandfathers and turn it into Mount Rushmore, it would absolutely be for the best.
He should be there watching it happen. Right up close.
