Such a great example of the C O N S U M E mindset. Does the TV have the features the person wants? Is it the right size or is taking it home all that matters? Is a deal better than the regular list price for a TV that does what they need?

If you put a six to seven inch tv in front of me that has 1) display 2) HDMI 3) $50, then there’s a really good chance I’ll buy it right then. After considering if I’m still interested in the project.
Ironically, a generic TV with a basic set of features is expensive because it is not “smart” and cannot have streaming tie-ins, pre-installed “apps”, or ads.
There’s absolutely a kind of person that does that. My ex’s father bought three vacuum cleaners because they were on a good sale and he figured someone he knew would need a vacuum eventually.
For an absolutely massive price cut I could see it. If they were selling Henry Hoovers for £1.99 I would probably take 5 of them. Maybe see if I can strap them together for funny projects.

Look for places that specifically say massage therapy, and then avoid them because they don’t do handjobs.

What resolution do you need? Last time I checked 720p LCDs were about that price in that size.
