I want it released already. Not because I’m going to be one of the many buying it or who pre-ordered it. But I’m sick of everything revolving around it. The Netflix Drama. Whether Rockstar uses Generative AI or not. The endless debates about the price tag. The activism people practice about digital vs physical that involves GTA 6.
Just tired of it all.
Bold of you to assume that the hype isn’t going to continue after launch.
Thanks for contributing to the exact thing you hate lol
I’m not buying GTA6, and I wouldn’t care if R* burned to the ground. They’re union busting assholes, and all the money they’ll harvest from GTA6 will simply tell them they can continue being union busting assholes.
Live and let die I guess. This is an interesting case of what people’s bubbles look like. I saw the thing on Netflix, don’t think much of it, but I’m not in spaces where people think about this enough to put it in my face. Sorry that’s not the case for you, I’m sure it’s annoying, but I haven’t seen it much, or I scroll past it I guess.
Fuck that where is GTA7? Can I play it when I’m dead?
Bruh, tell me about it. I haven’t even played GTA 4 yet because I don’t know if my computer can run it or not and if it can’t, it’s probably going to be another 20 years before I have a computer that can run it properly, and who knows if the game is even going to still be available by then.
The controversy won’t stop with release. Do you remember the uproar over Trevor offing Johnny Klebitz back in the day? I’m still holding a grudge after a decade plus.
I heard GTA6 broke its containment and tried to burn down a rival studio, but there was no-one there anyway due to mass layoffs.
Most of the people bitching about it will still be buying it day 1 guaranteed. It’s all bs people just like to complain and everything surrounding gta6 is just made up or petty.
It’s going to be an amazing game. Wether people finish it or not is another question. I finally decided to complete red dead redemption 2. There was one achievement that popped up related to story that only 18% of players had gotten. So most people must have never finished the campaign
To this day red dead redemption is still one of the best looking games out there. GTA 6 is going to be better
[…] one achievement that popped up related to story that only 18% of players had gotten.
I see this a LOT for some reason. Like, there are lots of games I play where the achievements make me think a majority of people that bought and played the game only did so for 30 minutes at most. I’ve seen achievements like “completed the tutorial” (completed by 60% of other players) and been like, wtf, 40% of people never even finish the tutorial?? And it seems to trend down from there. I wonder what that means often. Maybe people are playing the games in such a way that the achievements don’t register? Or there really are a ton of people buying games, playing them for 5 minutes, and then never touching them again??
I’ve got friends who are buying games on sale, because maybe they will play it someday, and then they have 150 games they will playvsomeday (the list is growing bigger).
Those are friends with thousands of hours on CS or Hoi
Fully agree. It’s the zeitgeist right now, it’s the biggest gaming moment in a long time, and while the hate of crunch and union busting is real, rockstar has a solid track record of near perfect games. Few of them, but near if not actually perfect. Guaranteed most people here complaining will pick it up after a while and justify it to themselves.
If it exists. I don’t know why rockstar wouldn’t release the next gen update for rdr2 now. It would give us 3 months to explore that world again. Because once gta6 hits nobody will be playing that and once online hits RDR2 will be forgotten about. Granted I never got into gta5 online but think I will this time
Well since we’re here, may as well BS a little.
GTA 5 was the first rated M game I bought myself with my own ID when I was 17. Now, I didn’t get married and have kids like everyone else my age back then, but I did finish high school, start and finish college, am well into my career, and am about to become engaged.
I’m pretty excited for it, but I’m almost equally as excited for Gears E Day. Been waiting to see E Day played out in-game for almost 20 years now. Also Ocarina. It’s going to be a busy end of the year and I’m here for it after a sort of dry year in general for my gaming up to this point.
Eh, I want God Hand on Steam.
We all can wish for shit, doesn’t meant it’ll happen. Gotta roll with it.
Plus, TBH, it was worse here before Silksong.
Also sick of hearing about it. Not because I want to play it, but because I don’t care about it, at all.
Congratulations, you added to that kind of noise. For no reason, too.
You can add it as a keyword filter in Voyager; unsure about other frontends. Then you would never see it again on this platform 🙂
Yeah, unless it’s a FitGirl release, I don’t really give a shit.
I’m boycotting it until there’s a British one.
