Doom metal is often called stoner metal. That’s not the vibe Vader gives, swap Yoda and Vader at bare minimum.
Stoner metal is a separate thing from doom metal.
It is strongly influenced by doom metal, but distinct from it.
The lines are often so close that the bands themselves don’t care between the distinction. I think the only time it’s obvious are when the bands make weed culture apart of their identity, like Belzebong.
