I think you’re missing the point of the question here. DLSS was meant to “fake” performance, i.e. you could have the game run at an upscaled 4k, when your PC can’t do native 4k. Now it’s reducing the performance at those upscaled 4k again, so you could just run native 4k at the same FPS.
is there a good guide to the different levels of dlss? what if I want to fake better performance to a degree because, i don’t know, maybe my potato got moldy and stardew is getting choppy
