i mean, we don’t know what the training was like for this version. if it was trained on a limited subset of people (like NBA players for NBA 2k) that could easily explain why. In future games that want to support this, they could train it specifically on the actor/models they used.
Not that final fantasy characters look like humans their stylized in a particular way and when you try and humanize that style it looks like an alien trying to fit in among humans with a slightly unconvincing skin suit
