[Lore Accurate Fallout New Vegas Ending]This video is just a jest so don't be to offended as I meant no harm.Just the Fallout New Vegas canon ending based on...
I fucking love the show. I can’t wait for season 3, and I love Kyle McLaughlin as Hank. Tbh he’s probably become my favorite side character.
Also, I can’t believe how many people said season 2 was mid to bad just because it didn’t align with their views of what should happen to The Strip after their personal playthrough. Imo the “15 years later” more than makes up for any significant changes from the game(s) to the show, because as we all know from the Fallout universe things can get real fucky real fast.
Without putting spoilers out there too blatantly, there’s a big reveal at the end of season 1 in a flashback at a Vault Tec meeting. In season 2, they did some backpedaling so that it was like, “No, no, no, that was the plan, but then they didn’t do it.” I’m loving the show so far, but I loved Westworld season 1, too, from the same showrunners. Hopefully later seasons of Fallout fare better.
Drawing things out was the problem with Westworld. I agree it wasn’t that much of a backpedal, but it robs the initial reveal of its impact, probably in pursuit of getting more mileage out of certain leading actors going forward. They get a wag of my finger for that one, and hopefully they don’t do too much more like it. Do what’s best for the story.
What did they retcon from season 1?

Ah, right. Imo they didn’t really backpedal on that too much. It still makes sense for them to draw out the “true” reveal.
