My most recent job has a couple of Spanish guys that call the actual boss man “jefe” and he (the whitest guy ever) responds well to it. I think that’s fun. I don’t know if I can get away with it, though, also being one of the whitest guys ever.
Some people call me boss, it’s very affirming but I’m not sure why they do it. I’m a low wage worker that’s slightly weird and awkward
Im the some people. I call a lot of folks boss. Held the door for me? Thanks boss. Pumped my gas? Thanks boss. Thanked me? No problem boss.
