I’m one of the biggest Rowling haters you’ll ever meet but I agree with this comment in its entirety

I’ve got a corsair rainbow barfer and I also had to install its control program manually. Mileage probably varies by manufacturer, most likely.

Look man, not all of us have access to the damn Akashic Record. Some of us only had shittily translated versions of the Lesser Key when we were kids. Grimoires don’t grow on trees, you know.
This is me also. I don’t know where I picked it up from.
My most recent job has a couple of Spanish guys that call the actual boss man “jefe” and he (the whitest guy ever) responds well to it. I think that’s fun. I don’t know if I can get away with it, though, also being one of the whitest guys ever.
Isn’t it as simple as just boiling the water and then freezing it?

I think we’ve hit a point of diminishing returns for graphics, I expect physics to be the next big leap. In game physics have come a long way but there’s still noticeable jank a lot of the time, stuff that gives away that you’re inside a video game.
Once that gets improved, we’re then on a good path to having VR make a proper return to public consciousness as well. One of the biggest problems with VR right now besides barrier of entry is just how janky the environmental interactions are.
0.5: Alright, look here, you little shit

Chrono Trigger not being present in the toss-up here is nearly a crime. If you like the others that you’ve mentioned, and haven’t played that one, definitely do. I don’t know if I’d call it my favorite game ever, but it’s very easily top 10, and might be my #1 top choice for the SNES.

Wouldn’t matter if they’re never in there anyway
We’re reaching heretofore unheard of levels of abstraction sir, perhaps we should abort.

Releasing the same game for the third time isn’t done to death?
We all clowned on Bethesda about it for Skyrim, Nintendo doesn’t deserve any different. Besides which this is an obvious ploy to try and regain control over their game after the decompilation projects.
I’ll pass. I can continue to play the game just fine, upscaled in 1080p 60FPS like we’ve been doing.

So this fine is being paid to… The French government?
Look, I’m all for trying to punish the corporation for bad practices, but that money should be distributed to the people impacted by those practices, i.e. Joycon owners. Not disappear into the pockets of a regulatory board who had largely nothing to do with this situation and just sees an easy opportunity to profit.
Jokes aside I would be incredibly down for them to tie those two settings together like they’ve teased about forever
Give us Ciri in 2077 make a whole game about it

Then you did not speak with programmers regularly, I learned this term probably back in 2008ish

5-10 years ago, you could be pretty sure this was a thing that actually needed checked, since the post about the clutch safety switch was posted by a real person who presumably had the same problem as you and fixed it with this method.
Now, there’s no way to know if that’s actually the case, or if “clutch safety switch” is just a likely string of words to feed someone who is having car trouble. You might get lucky, or you might get sent on eight consecutive goose chases because an LLM fundamentally doesn’t know what factual knowledge is, it only knows how to reorder and regurgitate things that other people have said in other contexts.

GI,GO only matters if people actually stop buying your garbage. It’s becoming pretty overwhelmingly obvious that most people are going to continue buying the garbage no matter how garbage it is, therefore, this is technically cost effective.
