Shit was rough when I graduated college in the 00’s, but I can’t imagine graduating these days now that a lot of employers want to replace entry-level roles with Claude.
Every generation gets less and less opportunities than the one proceeding it.
Literally wrote more than 100 applications and only one in-person meeting. I am more qualified than the average person in my field with more than 10 years of experience already.
Ngl I hate posts like this because it feels like talking to me as if I’m a big dumb dumb. But I did the calculations and the only thing I can conclude is a combination of bad luck and an extremely hostile job market. I had friends literally shocked I didn’t find a job. It’s awful and it strips away my confidence that took me a decade to finally build up.
