    Honestly, applying is a numbers game these days. A lot of us vets that are on the market are finding that the application to interview rate is on the low single digits. A lot of white collar work gigs get several hundred applicant, so you’ve got to apply quickly and have a resume that stands out.

    Also, there are a lot of ghost jobs and ai agents mucking everything up. So if you can get your resume directly in front of a hiring manager, you’re going to have a better chance of getting a screening interview.
