Don’t know if anyone has tried or if it’s well known, but I did. There was a brief period where I could wake it with my Xbox series controllers but then valve pulled the feature for bugs which I never experienced.

I first tried with the dongle which wakes it as expected on my Linux desktop and my steam deck. Then I paired it with Bluetooth mode and was able to wake it without issue.

Any Bluetooth controller can wake the Steam Deck. They had to disable it for a while due to bugs but it was re-enabled in a recent update.

Is it the LCD model? Because valve pulled an experimental feature. It momentarily worked on my Xbox series controllers but then it was pulled. I don’t know why, people claim the BT version can’t support wake but that’s obviously false.

When they first introduced it, my Bluetooth earbuds would wake it up every time I took them out of their case.

Oh man I used poxelbuds with mine at the same time and never had an issue. Like I said, didn’t affect me but it sucks so many had issues.

Amazing, I tried it when I first got the controller and it didn’t seem to work. I’ll definitely give it another go because this would make things so much more convenient.
