Only Don’t Nod game I’ve played is Jusant and it was absolutely superb. Loved the world building and gameplay. I’d be disappointed to see them go just off the back of that one game.
Unfortunately thir games don’t really have much mass market appeal and they haven’t innovated. They very much make the same game again and again and again and again with iterative improvements.
Jusant was very much different from their typical narrative game.
Looks like the hail mary pass to bring Max and Chloe back didn’t go too good.
That’s Square Enix/Deck Nine. Dontnod haven’t been involved with LiS since LiS2.
Their latest titles were Jusant, Lost Records, Banishers: Ghosts of Eden, and Aphelion. They also published The Lonesome Guild that I know of, which unfortunately didn’t sell well either.
I liked Lost Records.
That was a different company.
Sounds like layoffs are incoming.
