been getting blasted with these emails recently and I’m not even American.
At this point is it still morally wrong to phish these people?
I thought this was a joke. Is this really real? If so, that’s wild (and really low quality).
I think you could argue that they like being phished
How’s that tax return audit going, Donnie? Any progress after more than 10 tears?
Well said.
If you were to actually take this at face value and believe it (imagine!) wouldn’t it be better to not be signed up for these kinds of mailing lists? I don’t understand how the premise here would be convincing to someone.
It sounds like OP didn’t willingly sign up, they probably harvested those emails from wherever they could and for those they thought they could easily influence.
It’s convincing to the creator. Any recipient that finds it convincing would be like, “What?! But I’m already voting for him.”
And that’s where absolute dumbfuckery comes in.
They would say that exact sentence. But here’s the kicker. HE ISNT RUNNING. They don’t know that, he doesn’t know that, and they’re going to be confused as shit when they can’t find him on the ballot.
That said, shit like this works because these people are gullible turds. The dude has more publicly documented lies than days he has been on the earth.
They’re running a con job. If you’re stupid enough to vote for that guy, you’re stupid enough to get your money stolen. It’s that simple.
If the message was the opposite “you have not pledged to vote Democrat” what would be your guess as to who made it and why?
To me it sounds like trolling.
I think you might be underestimating just how dumb the MAGA base really is. As a group they are more likely to have never gone to college, dropped out of high school, and have a below average IQ. Normal critical thinking skills and common sense is asking too much, these people have a permanent case of poo brain.
