Nah… I’m central European and that is not even close. Maybe for Europeans living near low cost turist atrections? To be fair, yes - I found the Scottish more approachable so far :)
I live in Jersey (New), but a friend of ours is from Scotland, our kids are all the same age. He and his family (when they were over for the World Cup) are all just super easy to shoot the shit with. Soft-spoken and an accent makes them difficult to understand at times, but cool people. Got nothing but good things to say about the Scots based off my limited experience.
