I bought that game years ago hoping it would be a less toxic alternative to Mordhau.

      It wasn’t.

Not much more in the tank, really struggling to cope with life, maybe this League of Legends that everyone is talking about will cheer me up.

Nah, bad take, Geometry Dash is not relaxing at all, because of all the toxic people in in-game voice chat

    Add outlast trials.

Or at least it’s pretty stressful until you memorize the maps and enemy triggers.

Needs some dark souls and Dota in there. Gotta keep the stress levels low and wind down.

I’m in the minority of (ex) dead by daylight players who just had fun and enjoyed the vibes. Might get back into it for a short while when Art the Clown is added this fall.

Reckon there’d be a market for a newbies day for things? Like a forum or something where everyone piles in to a different game at the same time. There are so many games I want to try but do not have the time to get good enough to enjoy. Dead by daylight being a prime example.

Something like that would be cool, yeah!
DBD is also one of those games where you’re probably not going to be even remotely “good” until like 100 hours. Try-hards would give a higher number.

DBD has an MMR system. When you start out, you’ll be matched with new players for a long time. New accounts get told who the killer is before spawning in as well.

There isn’t any hard toxicity with DBD, as for the most part you can’t track what others are doing, can’t communicate or VoIP.

I think the stress comes from a lot of survivors setting the objective of the game to escaping, but the devs have said they don’t intend for survivors to be able to get out in almost all games. It’s a killer heavy game and it’s supposed to be near impossible to leave.

A twitch streamer almost had a 2k killer win streak before an MLG group sniped, used meta perks, and try hard for example. So adjust your mindset and enjoy, or just play killer.
