This is me with depression and not wanting to go buy groceries, but I’m so hungry that eventually I drive to a fast food restaurant and eat like shit.
Kinda me lately. There is a local Thai place and a local Vietnamese place. This world and economy and everything just got me so bunk I basically just frequent these two restaurants.
It’s nice tho the people are very kind to me and the food is fucking amazing and cheap. If I were you maybe just try to find somewhere slightly better, no judgement though
I generally do eat healthier, it’s just that lately buying a small bag of basic groceries is like $100 so it’s very difficult to justify going there. I can literally eat out every day and spend roughly the same or less money.

My solution is to just not drive anywhere. Also some government said I am not allowed but it’s reasonable.
How is this a shitpost? This is over of those “me irl” posts. edit: /jk
I have often thought this for posts in this community, but I believe that the sidebar said pretty much anything goes. It’s more of a random community sometimes.
If that’s no longer true I apologize because I cannot easily view the sidebar through my mobile browser at this moment.
Oh yeah I was just kidding lel.
Low key love the transitory period between being ready for work and actually leaving the house. Favorite part of my day really. It feels like stolen time, just for me
Yeah, sitting on the patio with my cup of tea. You just gotta make your space you zone out in peaceful instead of full of chairs covered in clothes and it upgrades the experience
I wfh, I don’t sign in a second early usually, I have a mobile game I play for a bout 10-15 minutes before I start. Most peaceful 10-15 minutes I get all day
I must be brainwashed because I also work from home but I love getting started 15-20 minutes early because I’ve never liked waiting around to work.
I think it’s carried over from my time in fast food and retail because even when I worked night and overnight shifts I couldn’t stand getting up hours beforehand knowing that in that time I’d just have to go to work afterward.
Brainwashed is very not true. Burnt out is more accurate
Probably, but I’ve also noticed that I hesitate to say “burnt out” anymore because the way I feel now feels beyond the way I used to use the word 5-10 years ago.
This is true too, getting older the tired I am after work, the less I want to do on the weekends
Yeah y’all are okay. Executive Disfunction! Distinction!
lol, you Gen Whatever’s… Back in my day, there was only time for “get in the fucking car, or you’re gonna be late!“ nobody nobody gave a shit about your existentialism.
And the car was, legit, an Audi 5000– a fucking death strap. But that’s a story for another time.

Oh man I hate those Gen whatevers. They always something something. Now us gen so and sos, we’re so cool because we grumble grumble.
And the car was, legit, an Audi 5000– a fucking death strap. But that’s a story for another time.
Can it be a story for right now time?
My trauma took place in the early 80s, so orient yourself to that timeframe
Unless you are racist
What if I’m racist against the quarter mile. I’m a five miler
Would someone race in one of those?
Never a better time than now. I was told the auto transmission in the late 70s VW was horrendous, kinda like a Saab, I should not have parked that thing on a sharp hill in Pittsburgh
That is a nice looking car though! Well I used to ride a green vanagon camper with some horrific mods
relatable.
Sometimes the silence is overwhelming
