My sister got her hands on something similar (I think it was chips ahoy with sour patch kids? The details are unimportant). They were completely inedible, just disgusting trash. I couldn’t even bring myself to eat a whole one while I was stoned and had a bad case of the munchies.
I’m convinced no one actually likes these and they’re made solely to make one-off sales to people who just have to see how bad they are.

See chips ahoy is way more eldritch to me but I guess it could sorta work in the way lemon or candied ginger does. Idk oreos make sense because they are already 90% sugar and slime but still just horrendous
