And all the executives that made the decision to sloppify were fired, right? Riiiight?
Those engineers demanded a 50% pay increase, right? Right?
I know if I got told to fuck off and then they come around begging for my help, you know I’m going to make sure they remember their mistake.
Those engineers demanded a 50% pay increase, right?
Why should they be so modest?
I know several people who would never return to any company who has fired them. Neither for 50% nor for 5000%.
I personally would think hard for 1000% or more.
Well…points to them for learning I guess.
I hope thoae rehired senior engineers charged them a massive increase on their salary to drive the point home.
Did they learn? If I was one of those engineers I’d be worried about getting sacked again after fixing the issues
I’d expect to be, so I’d make my invoice count.
Well…points to them for learning I guess.
That’s what they want you to think.
After this manipulative intro, the article is nothing but self-praise.
Ford has spent the last few years with quality as one of their main targets to solve, seems that has worked?
Props to them for doing something right.
I kind of hope some of them managed to find better work and refused Fords.
some of our most experienced engineers have had experience solving and identifying those problems before they creep into the system,
We’re moving from that find-and-fix mentality to preventing issues before they occur,
Too much sweet cream on that cake… for my taste at least.
What a slopportunity. First of many
Sounds like one of those Reddit stories 😆
