And what would that matter if the product is boycotted from now on? Yes, I have heard of it. And I will remember when buying something similar next. And it’s not this.

But usually I never see ads anywhere, so…

The only thing I hear or see when an ad appears is the chanting in my head as my eyes go red, “DIE. DIE. DIE. DIE. KILL YOURSELF YOU SACK OF SHIT. DIE IN A FIERY CAR CRASH YOU MISERABLE WRETCH.” Directed at anyone with any hand at any point in making the ad.

You know, it makes sense that allowing a group of people to psychological torment and abuse the entire worlds population would lead to some unhealthy outcomes, yes. Advertisers are manipulating and corrupting every single person’s mind, attempting to instill all sorts of emotions and desires. Surely NOTHING could go wrong right? Surely no one would be driven to LITERAL PSYCHOSIS ABOUT IT.

          SURELY NOT.

Everything can cause some to overreact, doesn’t mean that everything is evil.

If ads (or anything, really) bother you so much, you should seek help.

If you’re trying to convince me that advertising is not one of the single greatest wastes of energy and resources our society has ever known and also one of its greatest poisons, you’ll have a bad time dude.
