A few credit cards (used to carry only two, but when one got swallowed by an atm in a foreign country I learned better), a debit card, id card, drivers license, medical insurance card, car key card, bills, coins. Sometimes a few receipts to expense or the odd parking card.
Basically everything is a backup, my phone has all my credit and debit cards and my car key, but I still carry the wallet just in case: phone dead, traffic stop, sick, etc.

Same here. I believe in the power of the seven seas and jellyfin to ensure both ownership and convenience. I do buy the movies/shows I enjoy, I just don’t use the streaming platform. I wish it worked like music where you can buy individual songs / albums and just download them DRM free and use them wherever.

We are talking about developing alternatives to US services, which, surprise, will need datacenters to run. You don’t provide email to 700 million people from an old laptop in a basement.

The roller has been solved a few years ago. The split-roller design doesn’t need any maintenance, no hair tangles in the two years I owned mine. Plenty of robots use it, as the patent expired.
