Not sure why, but I did watch through this without even blinking. Maybe it is a really good ad against gambling. Also, sad that guy got into a spiral due to some people liking to watch people destroy themselves. He has great parents and a good brother. He deserves much more than this.
Also, this vid is incredible and I couldn’t stop watching. Maybe long content is really that good, or maybe my attention span is in a good shape (for something interesting. I am easily bored if it is not interesting to me)

This is how my normie friends at a party look at me when I tell them to put on Too Many Cooks
We don’t have to watch the whole video, just the intro credits.
Every time someone sends me a link to a Technology Connections video, I open it and think “Yeah right, I’m not watching an hour long video about humidifiers! I am curious about his conclusion so I’ll skip to the end.” Then, suddenly, it’s an hour later.
Also someone sent me a two hour long video on exploiting goomba behavior in Super Mario 64 for glitches, and for some reason I watched that whole thing. Why?!

Pancake man strikes again! I think part of what makes pannenkoek’s videos so enthralling is how they all build together towards the ABC - it’s not just random bugs in an old game, it’s bugs that are being found for a cause by a community of enthusiasts.
Not the longest game lore/series retrospective I’ve watched!
And thank you for that! In exchange, here’s castlevania, a lengthy retrospective. Love these longform videos cuz I don’t always have energy or enough interest to do the things myself.
I see your Nier lore and raise you A Bomberman Journey
Well now that depends. If it’s 10 minutes of jokes then sure. But if it’s a 10 minute lead-up to one punchline, yeah sorry, I’m in my 50’s I’m not wasting what precious few minutes I have left on that.
An hour+ narration…do I dare start this…
It is an amazing story. It is worth it if you have the time.
I’m almost tempted to read it again all these years later, but honestly once in a lifetime is enough. The ending is great though, 10/10 would recommend the read.
Yeah, not everyone has seen the joke, but it’s better late than never.
Ooh, one of my favourite stories of all time. Don’t really see it be recommended out in the wild these days
It helps not having your attention span utterly obliterated by shorts and reels
Sure, but then the Adhd kicks in…😔
There’s a fun new counterculture where I’m expected to pay attention to boring things, but now if I don’t it’s because I must use my phone too much.

Futurama-like effects may occur
The intro coming on the second time is what made me actually laugh.
I was at an event where we were told that some locally famous guy would tell us a story about when he discovered a murder scene.
When the event came around, it turned out that the guy wasn’t going to show up, but what they had prepared was a voice recording of the story. Also, the story was 40 minutes long. 40 minutes at an event with everyone in silence - no chit chat during the story.
I mean, it was a good story, but it seemed like a lot of wasted time for an event where we could have gotten to know eachother better.
I feel old.
Read this funny 500 page book, old.
Vids with buildup are funniest tbf. Just don’t watch my live reaction tho, I feel pressure.
10 minutes of funny or 8-9 minutes of setup for a one off funny? There is a difference
the demented cartoon movies clocks in around a half hour and it was worth it
I have a friend that constantly wants me to watch his stream right quick to show me some memes that are unfunny. While I’m in the middle of a boss fight in a video game.
Just send me the link and I’ll watch when I have time.
