Damn. That’s actually really cool.
Let them have it. Move on.
Then shouldn’t they both be illegal?
You must not have had them with barbeque sauce
I mean, I’m totally down for the burn it all to the ground approach, too. It’d certainly be much better long term. Reformism at this point is definitely more akin to a bandaid when you need a full amputation.
Carl’s Jr. - Fuck you! Im eating.
Shhhh, I’m a Silicon Valley genius and deserve millions in venture capital. Call me Elizabus Holmes.
No worries here. I’ve been on EndeavourOS for 3+ months now. Im just saying there’s enough crossover that I think the steam hardware survey will show the uptick over time.
Tbh, I’ve wanted to cut over to Linux for years, but I hadn’t due to game support. We’re at a point now with Proton that there’s almost no reason not to, unless you’re that beholden to games that install rootkits, er, kernel level anticheat, in which case just dual boot.
New startup: BusGrub.
You put in an order for what you want and pick a timeslot a few hours in the future. E.g. for dinner, you put your order in at like at like noon and pick a 5-7pm window. Then, approaching your scheduled slot, a bus goes all around the area, picking up every order for that slot in the area, then swings around to each drop-off over the course of like two hours.
Result: Everyone enjoys cheaper, but gross soggy food.
Please give me $20 mil starting capital, thanks.
OneNote re-installing and re-adding itself to my startup after I absolutely turned it into swiss cheese was my final nail in the coffin.
Windows now lives in an image file that I can boot into using Linux as a thin client to start up a Windows VM for the occasional time I need to do some heavy Excel work. Absolute trashware.
2 days? He said 2 weeks haha
Sure it will, there are a ton of people who want to get away from the trash that is Microsoft and play Steam games, myself included.
Yeah, they should have sucked it up and made a passionless game, a shell of the former titles. Oh, wait.
I guess it wasn’t super relevant to the prior comment, which was focused more on AI embodiment. Eh, it’s just numbers anyway, no sweat off my back. Appreciate you, though!
I can see how this mere question can end friendships…
That and there is literally no way to prove something is or isn’t conscious. I can’t even prove to another human being that I’m a conscious entity, you just have to assume I am because from your own experience, you are so therefor I too must be, right?
Not saying I consider AI in it’s current form to be conscious, more so the whole idea is just silly and unfalsifiable.
The average person should almost certainly not be using it, but maybe it would make the difference for extremely sun sensitive people.
Assuming this is a sincere question:
The sun emits a wide spectrum of radiation due to the nuclear fusion reactions occurring within it’s core. This includes everything from low energy non-visible radio waves and thermal radiation to high energy X-rays and gamma rays. Fortunately for us, the Earth’s electromagnetic field and atmosphere (especially the ozone layer) protects us from all but a tiny sliver of ionizing radiation or we wouldn’t be here to talk about it.
Also, hello again AES_Enjoyer, hope you’ve been well :)
I was under the impression that was not the case. If the estate has no money to pay out, the collectors are gonna come knocking, no?
