Can we just put the words there if we’re talking about specific words, so that not your entire readership needs to collectively guess what you’re talking about? Quote the words, if needed, but can we PLEASE stop censoring words, especially in news or educational context?
These days even “d**th” gets censored because oh boy o god, if somebody uses the D word, we will be in trouble!

The “letter-word” thing has always been weird for me as a non native English speaker.
It reminded me to Voldemorts “He Who Shall Not Be Named” thing. I’m used to it now, but I think about it it’s still a weird thing.
