Jump back into the world of beasts in Cassette Beasts 2002, coming to Xbox Series S | X, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC! A follow-up to the critica...
One of my personal favorite. I loved the first game, but felt it was a bit too… Small.
I mean, you can go from one end of the map to the opposite one in barely more than a few minutes, without even using fast travel…
I personally didn’t feel any issue with the game being small. Besides, a bonus of fast travel not being necessary is that it’s not necessary! I’m assuming that in the JRPG tradition, it’s more about a “large” story than a large playable area.
I kinda agree, but the fact it was so tightly packed made it difficult to create visual variety, and ends up becoming a bit repetitive. Forest, forest, more forests. I’d had liked to see a desert, maybe some crystal cave, mesas, etc.
That partly why I look forward to 2k2, ot seem way more open.

I hope 2k2 will be a lot bigger.

I also hope they made it in Godot 4. The first game was a bit unoptimized
