Is candy corn hard like a jawbreaker or soft like a gummy bear?
Ive only seen it referenced and onscreen in Halloween episodes of American TV. Never once seen anyone eat it on screen to ascertain any kind of texture.
It’s neither of those textures. It’s a texture that can only be achieved with corn syrup. Kinda chewy but firm, like taffy but more grainy and not stretchy.
Soft, not as much as a gummy bear though. Closer to a skittles without the hard shell. Or a non-sticky starburst. They pretty much taste like stale sugar.
