If we realise that the “war on drugs” was actually the CIA’s war on the competition because counter narco insurgency is, for instance and purposes, indistinguishable from narco insurgency, the “war on drugs” was a roaring success. I mean, those illegal regime changes and death squads aren’t free, ya know.
Anybody who wants to know more about the drug war, it’s racist and fascist origins, and it’s help in building the current police state, read the book “chasing the scream”
I was so mad when I finished that book.
ok, so there isn’t a commodities market for drugs, and they wren’t moving it in enough of a quantity that they were making much from the price fluctuations because there wasn’t that much coke on earth. the most someone could make on such subtle price fluctuations would have been 5pt shit, and only if they were Pablo Escobar sitting on a Pablo Escobar-sized stash selling it all to someone else at once… and Pablo Escobar couldn’t have given a shit about a 5pt shift in the value of cocaine.
and these aren’t guys who really tracked the minute-by-minute price fluctuations of this on some sort of Drugs NASDAQ, so it’s likely that nobody ever would have been aware. so the math of this just doesn’t really make sense.
now do you see why I called this “reductionist bullshit”?
oh, nevermind. i was just saying that the drug market is a lot more complicated than the simple concept of supply in demand, but I really didn’t want to start a discussion. I’m trying to have a chill afternoon, and I don’t want to get into a discussion about economics. which is, ya know, not chill, lol

If that was true, then wouldn’t the war on drugs hurt the CIA’s drug sales too? None of this makes any sense.
This whole contradictory reductionist bullshit conspiracy theory never made any sense.
Reduce supply and the price goes up.

I’m afraid I didn’t really get your message. Where was this minute-by-minute market implied?

Here is a picture of my cat
Hi. I’m not part of this conversation, but I just wanted to say I like your cat!
…he could probably smuggle some drugs through the barbed wire.
oh, he’s done his part!
Haha gotcha. I had just enough capacity to focus on the macro side only and got stressed.
Right back at you!
HAHA! nice try, but I know my cat’s Vitiligo well enough, that I can identify him just by his nose!
micro for the win!
cute tuxie, btw ❤️
Cat with a shaved spot on the thigh
he’s had a rash recently. not sure why, but it’s getting better ❤️🩹
