This is a trailer for the upcoming movie, GIMP: The Movie. The film follows Spencer Kimball (Johnson) as he creates the photo editing application, GIMP, and takes Photoshop head on. Can a free, open source app take down Adobe’s capitalistic behemoth? Spencer’s internal battle reflects his external fight with the titans of the industry.
Pork Johnson stars in a potential Oscar turn as the muppet puts it all out there in his portrayal of Spencer Kimball, the founder of the photo editing software, GIMP. Compared to the likes of The Social Network and with a “chilling” and “memorable” performance by Pork Johnson, this movie should not be missed.
So many people are going to show up to the theater and be disappointed when they realize it’s about a software developer!
This is cinema.
correct
Is this a joke?
Hey man, show some respect. This is serious cinema like Schindler’s List and Legally Blonde.
huh I wonder if there’s a significant day coming up around which jokes tend to accumulate?
This was posted on here like a month ago. Date has nothing to do with it.
finally, 15 years after the java movie!
Please tell me this is a joke.
Also this is too late. Had they done it around ~2000 it might have been more relevant. Or “hip” I guess.
Is this about how the guy in Pulp Fiction turned his life around to do graphics instead?
It took a few years for Weird: The Al Yankovic Story to go from a fake trailer to the real deal. I have hope!
Wait we’re two days early
I didn’t know I wanted this movie, but here we are.
With that title, I was expecting Cronenbergian body horror
I watched it did the second time and it was funny as the first time!
Amazing job! That was worth the watch!
That was unexpectedly pretty great.
Tap for spoiler
I thought it was going to be a serious movie. Then the puppet appeared and I was like okay maybe they are having fun with it. Then the war scene got me.
Doesn’t seem like this is going to be a real thing, but I want it to be.
Didn’t you notice the April 1 release day???
I didn’t see it and can’t find it now.
