Some of the Home Depots in my area (Philly) have places in the parking lot that sell cheesesteaks and sausage sandwiches and they’re really fucking good. I would go there every day and the guy would double-stuff my sausage sandwich and even give me like a 6" link to eat while waiting for it. It was just too much – I was already full after eating the sample.
I work fast food, and I could swear that I see the same 10 people over and over again, sometimes within 15 minutes of each other. I know they’re not the same people, but I couldn’t pick any of them out of a lineup. Most of them don’t have any characteristics that stand out, colored hair helps though. Maybe I just have an awful memory.
Depends on the grocery store and how loss leader they’re playing. Giant eagles fried chicken remains an incredible deal for such an overpriced store. Wegmans by comparison ain’t going to save you a buck on prepared food but it’ll usually be pretty good.
I’ve started comparing everything to the $30+ for underwhelming Sonic food recently. Since then, things that have been the same price or less:
1x smoked pork sandwich, 1x smoked brisket sandwich, 1x large mac and cheese ($32ish)
1x turkey/dressing/cranberry sauce, 1x rice and gravy, 1x baked chicken, 1x mashed potatoes, 2x macaroni, 2x yeast rolls, 1x peanut butter pie, 1x lemon pie ($35)
Buy one, get one free wood-fired pizzas after 10 PM near me. Two pizzas for $14.95.
Fuck fast food. Try your local places. Deals are out there and you meet people.
Grocery store deli counter can be an incredible place to get very good and affordable food, just saying.
I like the free pieces of meat they give me.
“Actually, I’m all good now. You already fed me, SUCKERS!”

Support the bourbon chicken place at your local mall food court (spiritually, not financially).
I’ve heard all white people look the same, so they’ll probably never even realize.
