well yea, but we haven’t been starved on mainline mario content either. we had bowser’s fury in 2020, mario wonder in 2023 (not a 3d game but still mainline), and dk bananza apparently has a lot in common with 3d mario (tho i couldn’t tell myself, i didn’t play it)

DK Bananza was made by the Odyssey team so it makes sense there isn’t another 3d Mario on the horizon yet
I hear you and I’ll take (finally) a classic3D DK over yet another Mario. But it’s still weird.
