I remember seeing a game being demod at a computer fair around that time. It was Doom, but with the enemies graphics replaced with Barney characters. I think I was 9 at the time…right age for both hating Barney and loving Doom (at least in the mid 90s), and I was enamored with this game. My parents wouldn’t let me buy it though.

25 years before 2019 was 1994. Killing Barney was all the rage back then.
