We cover the recent NVIDIA x Palantir partnership wherein NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that NVIDIA would “accelerate everything that Palantir” does. In this video, we mostly define WTF Palantir is, but also expand on other topics of AI facial recognition technology, so-called “pre-crime” arrests facilitated by other technologies and agencies, and how NVIDIA feels like it’s becoming, effectively, a defense contractor. Instead of ‘normal’ weapons, though, NVIDIA is selling AI technology to be turned into weapons.

Yes Nvidia selling to these actual criminals is very unethical and also hostile to the American public. We should boycott them. Even if you can’t boycott every evil company if you boycott some it’s effective over years to wear away their reputation, and power.

They should have boycotted them during the RTX 50xx if they cared about boycotting. As it is, people who have continued to buy into them have helped finance their own irrelevance.

      We should boycott them

How? They aren’t selling to us anymore, remember. They’re ramping down their consumer products because the AI specific products are more lucrative. Hell, not buying their consumer products just proves that point. We’re beyond fucked at this point.

      Just grab some popcorn?

They are still selling to you. 5090s “oh, they are back to MSRP again, buy buy buy!”, consoles that use them like the Nintendo Switch 2, etc. They are still selling to consumer markets, they just don’t want to sell to the markets that call them out on the monopolistic bullshit.

Now you have another reason not to buy NVIDIA: with the US being the corrupt hellhole that is now turning into an authoritarian regime and with them being willing to work with Palantir, it’s only a matter of time between the NVIDIA App software they force you to install becomes a surveillance tool. Because your private data is also much more profitable to them than you are, and they will get no legal backlash they won’t just inevitably be able to dismiss with just a slap on the hand.

I think the collective we in use here is for anyone that thinks privacy is important.

Also, gamers are now competing with governments for GPUs so that’s gunna suck.
