Idea: in case of emergency the user can download a 400 mb app and after login + otp verification can see where is the emergency door opening tab
Strange. Maybe it’s a Europe thing, but my 2020(?) M3 has a little mechanical lever you can pull to open.
I think you are misremembering. I triple checked and there is nothing in the German Manual for rear door release in a 2020 Model 3.

Crazy, but that is also not a 3/Y, probably an X, maybe an S? The trunk of the 3/Y doesn’t open into the cabin.

There is no manual rear door release on the door handle like the front doors have.
Wow you are absolutely right, no emergency release in the back. I had to actually go touch it.
