In the case of the latter, I think so? Most of my siblings have very bad short term memories, so do I. And we all have ADHD. Though medication doesn’t really help a lot for me in that regard, it allows me to concentrate better so I can use my short term memory more effectively.

Not for ads but for looking forward if you take your eyes off the road it cancels the auto drive. They can apply it to looking at ads very easily
