The EU Commision is rolling out a law that will severly impede our rights when it comes to digital products.
and what would that change in regards of that law? It would still need a way to implement age verification and I really don’t see a way for an open, federated, distributed system like the fediverse to implement it. It is in its core principles incompatible with age verification. I can’t see a way for the fediverse to survive this law, not in the EU at least.
