Not sure, if it is a GPU problem only then it will just be FPS drops. But for my case, the game freezes at specific intervals and doesn’t do any thing even if I tap anywhere on the screen. It may sometimes be even playing (the graphics) but I can’t change items, probably because the CPU cannot handle something somewhere.
I don´t know what that total freeze is about, but I suspect it’s something other than being behind on processing instructions. Does it only happen in wide open areas where you can see to the horizon? That’s the only time Minecraft used to get laggy for me and I´d lower the draw distance and it would be better.
Unfortunately i have to link to reddit but as you can see, the GPU can handle the graphics. But if you do a certain action like switch an item, the game freezes. I think this could be due to a CPU spike.
Hasn’t really been for years, and minecraft isn’t a terribly hard game to run anymore anyway.
With the new vibrant visuals and ray tracing features on bedrock, midrange devices cannot keep up.
Those are both GPU-dependent, and certainly not single-threaded.
