Nicotine+ and similar apps: clients for the Soulseek network, where you download an entire file from a single peer. Also searchable. There’s no need to use a website for either of these.

I’m no expert, but some examples I know of are:
Tribler: a bittorrent-based app with built-in search and some extra security compared to regular bittorrent.
Nicotine+ and similar apps: clients for the Soulseek network, where you download an entire file from a single peer. Also searchable.
There’s no need to use a website for either of these.
