Brother Bear died in prison in 2019. Papa Bear caught covid after demonstrating how to wear and how not to wear a mask for Sister Bear’s kids and though he survived the acute phase, he didn’t survive long covid. Mama bear got depressed and gave up, passing away in 2022.
Sister Bear then tried changing her name to Mama Bear but her husband was freaked out when she asked him to change his name to Papa Bear and convinced the judge during the divorce that her obsession was recreating her old family wasn’t healthy for the kids so she only had supervised visitations. She was put down in early 2024 when she mauled the court officer when he tried to physically remove her kids from her (she was still a Mama Bear).
At least that’s what I remember happening in my timeline. Pretty crazy ending for the Barrenstayne Bears.
