Is there no git hosting service left that isn’t pushing censorship and fascism? I think I should just start self-hosting at this point.

    Is it really “censorship” if they openly state which shit they don’t want to have near their platform? If I opened any kind of platform myself, these two would be right behind “illegal activities” and “hate speech”. And I’d be proud to place them there.

    If you have issues with not being able to put LLM shit or crypto “currency” scams anywhere, then you should look into selfhosting.

      I did in fact switch to self hosting. Also, how would you define “illegal activities.”? The internet is a decentralized, world-wide platform. Which State’s jurisdiction would you like to fall under? If that State has laws that you don’t agree with?

    no they didn’t. it’s right there in the thread; they reserve the right to remove any project that “damages the reputation of codeberg”, with crypto scams listed as an example.
