You, 14 Aug: Morning! How are you?
Them, 14 Aug: great since I get to talk to you 🙂. How are you?
You, 15 Aug: Great for the same reason 🙂. Want to have dinner?
Them, 15 Aug: love to, where and when?
Them, 15 Aug: Where are we having dinner?
Them, 15 Aug: missed 7 calls from Them.
Them 15 Aug: I’m hungry, are you ok?
Them, 15 Aug: I hope you’re ok, call me when you see this, no matter the time, I just need to know you’re ok
I read the meaning as someone thinking it weird to text back immediately. That was the offense. As if you should play it cool and wait to respond.
I personally respond quickly if I’m holding my phone and the message comes in, usually.
I make sure to age my replies. If someone’s not dying, give that shit a full 24 hours.

You, 16 Aug: Morning, sorry, 24 hour rule. Dinner tonight?
lmao that’s hilarious
Them? Was it several?
You and them can refer to just you and one other. English pronouns get weird.
Just enough time to sous vide the roast
Some days they get multiple replies, as a treat!
That’s dexter so it reads to me like anyone responding instantly is a serial killer.
I thought that was David Fisher
