I dunno if I necessarily agree with the AI aspect of it. Because I think that might just be a slippery slope.
But overall I think non acted upon pedophilia should be viewed more akin to intrusive thoughts where we also try to not condemn the person for the thoughts or fantasies they have.
My issue with genAI csam is two issues. One, what was that model trained on? Two, it would be fairly easy to hide real csam in a folder of generated csam.
If it’s drawn, it’s fine with the exception of when it’s based on a specific child.
