Like I hate to say it mate but have you hung around any vegan spaces on the Internet? This kind of shit is honestly not that far off brand. It feels like every week there’s some new insane thing like trying to make captive, domesticated pets vegan, or deciding they don’t actually like bees, or unironically cheering on alpha gal syndrome.
A friend of mine fell down that rabbit hole and started feeding her cat a vegan diet. Poor thing died at like 5 years old because that’s not what they’re supposed to fucking eat.
