Don’t get why people have all kind of reactions to this when it’s literally the most basic knowledge of Christianity, that Jesus is 100% God and 100% Man
The reactions are because people are learning that the council’s conclusions were controversial. Before the council it was not a dominant view. A large portion of early church fathers (and mothers) would be considered heretics by Nicene Christians.
