My dad stopped smoking for a little bit to prepare for a big operation. After the op, he asked if we could wheel him into the smoking lounge at the hospital where he was recovering. So begrudgingly we wheeled him in there and with the most sincere shock while we rolled him in, he asked ‘wait is this what you always smell when people smoke? This stink?’
Yea, that’s what our house smells like. You smoke three packs a day in the same small room. What do you expect.
He died of a completely preventable form of cancer a year later. Kids, don’t fucking smoke. It ruins you and the ones you love.
My first house was previously smoked in by someone that probably matched your dad. We put 4 coats of paint on the wall and still couldn’t completely remove the stink.
A buddy of mine tried that after he bought his house. Long story short the ozone reacted with chemicals in the carpet and furniture and produced various toxic aldehydes. His (then) pregnant wife couldn’t safely be in the house for like a week afterwards.
Absolutely disgusting… There are ways to clean walls and shit, but it’s disgusting. You get these long black goopy ropes of just, tar and shit that Come off the walls.

Try an ozone generator (but absolutely do your research on how to use it safely, inhaling ozone is very dangerous)
Hotels use them for rooms that have been smoked in, and used car dealers on smokers cars
