The biggest issue is that 5G is very easily blocked by objects, including humans. It’s unavoidably very hard to get a strong stable signal in crowded places. In my humble opinion, the extra speed just isn’t worth the trade-off 🤷🏼
If that would be true I’d not be getting excellent zone in my concrete jungle. You’re thinking of short-wavelength (mmWave) 5G which is rarely used (mostly in dense population areas like event venues), but most utilized towers run on similar frequencies as 4G.
EDIT: Just gotta flex abit and say when I upgraded my home network from 4G to 5G, I went from ~50 latency to ~30, speed went from 150 to 700. Same cost (26eur, unlimited) with no downtimes whatsoever. Happy 5G customer here.
